Ivory and then a thinned red wash into the folds. I think the real thing has bands of thin red stripes, that was the best way I could think of abstracting it.

And blimey! I can remember when Bill first sculpted that and posted it on the Musketeer Miniatures Yahoo Group! It seems like years ago, which of course, it was  :o

Cheers, I'd had it years sat on the shelf, I remember buying some Dark age figures off Bill at the Derby show (at the university) saw this and bought it on a whim, like loads of my purchases.

It's a beautiful sculpt with well executed with the brushwork too :)
