Great.   :)

Now here is a question for the Figure Historians.

I recently bought some figures from this range and expected them to be 25mm or "small" 28mm.  They were not though.  They fit right alongside my other 28mm figures.  So the question is, were the original Grenadier figures this size or have Mirliton "remastered" them?  (Just curious.)

I have the Fu Manchu and Maltese Falcon figures , the first measures 25mm to the eye , but then it looks smaller than the other figure in the pack.
The Fu Manchu figure has Grenadier engraved under the base , the other has been painted and based but I think its an original I think he's just over 25ish but its hard to tell with the basing.

Are the prices per figure or for a pack of three?

I wish that the sculpters and manufacturers of figures had a very clear definition to work to i.e 25mm from foot to eye which is basically 28mm from foot to top of head.

But what we appear to have is a spread of 25mm from foot to top of head through to 28mm from foot to eye (32mm)

I defo would prefer as clear definition, probably 25mm from foot to eye would be marvellous.

THose are nice looking figures...anyone sell them in North America? The shipping for a small pack or two is ridiculous to Canada.

I think they'll be available through Miniaturicum (see: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=6181.0 ). They sell Mirliton and their shipping rates are based on the actual shipping rates. In addition, shipping from Germany is much better than from Italy.

Thanks Malebolgia, but the last time I had something shipped from Germany, it was far worse than even England.

I think that the 'correct' way to measure minis in mm is footsole to eye. The convention was invented AFAIK because military minis tend to wear all kinds (and heights) of headgear - hence it can be difficult to measure to the top of the head accurately....

But, yes, would be nice if sculptors could just agree on the same way of doing it....
