That first montage with the emotional music would bring a tear to a glass eye.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Saw that a short while ago and thought it was a fan film at first  lol

Need to have a proper watch when I’m back from work but the first thing that struck me is the use of the original trilogy ships  o_o

I wonder if it’s a dream sequence?
cheers

Closer look there are T-70’s and I think the new A and Y-wings. Not sure about the B though.

My guess is that the Imp Duces have been left there (in the ‘storm cloud’) hidden away by the Empire but the Resistance, or what’s left of it, find them.

Should be suitably kick ass  :D

Bit like the ol' EU story about the Dreadnaught fleet? (name escapes me at the mo')

Wasn't it Black Fleet Crisis with Admiral Daala?

No, it was the Thrawn Trilogy Heir to the Empire.

I always thought it would be a good story arc for the RPG where they stumble across one of the dreadnoughts   :)

The highly experimental process of freezing people in carbonide that Vader pioneered seem to have really caught on.

In the Old Republic MMORPG video game it is standard practice for bounty hunters. That game is set about 3000 years before Empire Strikes Back. Funny, that...  :)
