Totleben, everything I do involves a song & dance.
At least that what my wife thinks.

One must follow the proper rituals to empower your forces for their role on the battle top.

Another vehicle for my French Indo-China project.
This time a civilian vehicle, a tatty Citron.
Might belong to the foreman at the plantation,
when I build the plantation that is.

Ian! Come on, you know it is my aim to do just about everything.
it might take me several lifetimes, so reincarnation will have to be
an option.
I expressed an interest when you first mentioned it, waaaay back
before figures were even available. Remember you were considering
converting WW2 Americans. Since then I have ...bought figures from
Empress and... done bugger all else. You have fielded two (?) full display
games & written your own rules for it. I lag a little bit behind.
Recently did the two jeeps (posted a page or two back), was happy
with them, so when I found the Citron I thought, 'get that done as well'.
Might get a few of the inf. done & then could be ready for a skirmish game.
Nothing as complete as your set up though.

Today, you will need:-
Some cheap off-cuts of MDF (I got mine from B&Q, £6.25 for the three);
Some embossed wall-paper (Always look at these in the DIY stores, some are bril.);
Wall-paper paste (Cheap, but mine was surplus after papering the guest room);
Wood stain (Cheaper than 'shades etc', great for scenery & it comes in various colours);
Match Pots (Cheap way of getting scenery painted/drybrushed etc.) &
some nice weather, so you can do the messy stuff outside.
& you have (well in this case) a play base for Victorian streets (match pots of various greys)
and two for sunnier climes (yellow match pots)

I have a few feet left. I was thinking of making some Peninsular
buildings using it. Interested?

With the rebirth of our Western Gunfighting (Dardenell County)
I decided to look at my MDF hill.
Decided to take one out & build it.
Like most of my undone Wild West buildings, comes from the TT Combat range.
Relatively cheap & easy to put together. On the down side they are a bit boxy, &
not much interior detail included. I do not like interior detail, so I 'seal' my buildings.
I would rather use room outlines (off to the side of the table).
Still, one more thing done.

Work I have done, quite a while ago, but getting back into
Westerns I got these out of storage. They had received the
hand of time badly. Basing material was cracked & coming away
from the bases in parts.
Some repair work & they are good to go.

Two almost rejected chunks of 'Blue foam',
some bits & pieces along with a bit of time =
Two Adobe hovels. Multi use. Now table ready.

Always on the look out for things that could be used for wargames.
The wife wanted help pulling out weeds. I kept the 'interesting' roots,
and dried them out. Now they are mounted on... (you'll never guess)
Old CDs.
The fallen leaves were free, a wonderful idea by a fellow LAFer, the
autumn debris under Silver Birch trees. I collected several tubs last year.
It goes a long way.

Love the twisted trees. I thought about doing the same when I am weeding; every once in a while I pull up something that I think might make a decent tree but then I scrap it.
