Photos from my visit to the fantastic military museum in Sofia in August 2019. I’ve included the 1912-1913 Balkans Wars exhibits as well as they’re awfully close in timeframe.

The museum was truly amazing. From early warfare to modern, thousands of artefacts, and outside virtually every piece of Soviet made kit. Plus a Jagdpanzer IV, both versions of StuG; more T-34s than I could count; aircraft galore - even a German early Tornado (?!?).

But truly the 1908-1919 section was my favourite. The uniforms are just so fantastic.

Always good to see Bulgarian uniforms and thanks for sharing them.
 Did you take any photos of WW2 Bulgarian uniforms ?
 Been trying to find some of the military police and the green MP armbands.
