Metal and/or plastic?

I know the TAG horses are a little smaller than Perry ones, but might be appropriate for dismounted archers and crossbowmen.

Sorry, I was referring to the Perry metal horses.

I don't have any Kingmaker horses left lying around to compare them with the plastic ones unfortunately :(

First base (of the three) all done.
Thanks for the feedback; I've committed myself to the Perry horses now (that is I've purchased some more).
Cheers
Simon.

The first base has turned out great!

The Perry horses seem to be a good choice (for consistency if nothing else!), just a shame it's not easier to get a whole bunch of 'neutral' horses in bulk though!

The second base is now all painted up (the one on the right) - happy with how this one's worked out - moving on to the third and final one.

Cheers, Simon.

That's really nice. I love poses like that, the ordinary people looking relatively relaxed and doing ordinary things, rather than the leaping and sword-waving that so many manufacturers seem intent on creating.

Yeah, apart from the purely lovely aesthetic involved in having pieces like this on the tabletop they can really make or break the look of a game.
