Elbow, thanks for posting the scale comparison picture of the GW mini. I honestly don’t own any GW to compare it to aside from a sigmarine or Choas Cultist.

Munindk, I think it will be longer before the living version comes out of these minis.

Answering your questions about the scythe.. without reforging it pointing up  not that scary.
Historically fighting scythes were always reforged :P

This is scythe ready for combat (strange but it is)

Ok, now i can return to contemplate zombies :>

I like a lot that all ot their weapons are farm tools

Question for the reviewer, does it come with (plenty of) unarmed arms options? I kind of dislike my zombies walking around with weaponry. Not really how I view them.

And I am sure that those armed arms will fit perfectly on my Frostgrave Cultists bodies, so no loss either. :D

Ditto. That's how I always envisaged peasant militia, either dead, undead or something inbetween ;-).

Is that a scythe or a hedge-laying bill? Bills tend to have a heavier blade as they are designed for cutting branches. I think I still have one in the garden shed

Well, really only the first two times if we're going to accurate about it.  :)

Also, for those unaware, the nice thing about this kit (from what I can tell) is that it more or less mirrors the living peasant kit (i.e...you can play before and after).  It's why I'm okay with the zombies having weapons, they're just the farming tools/angry peasant mob weapons they were holding when they became zombies.

Shape fits better. I cont know if they were used in that shape in medieval times but its fantasy so very well could be.
Anyway combat scythe would look like that sans the hook at the end.

I really hope for it for my angry mobs with torches and pitchforks but was this stretch goal reached in Kickstarter ?

Not a stretchgoal, the kickstarter wasnt very succesful, but by popular demand they comitted to making a box of living peasants, with the caveat that they'd be released later then the rest of the kickstarter miniatures.

Last I saw release schedule it said late october, but that was back in... may?

I received my pledge today  :) :) including some zombie peasants. They are as great as the pictures show!  :)

cheers Thomas

P.S. Unfortunately the character minis show clear signs of 3d-printing :-(
These days it's Wargods and Warhammer Armies Project I am working on !

Yep, seen several people complaining about the handful of resin characters which are super-obviously 3D printed rather poorly.

PS: Seen on another forum that Fireforge refunded one person when they sent pictures and stated the quality was unacceptable.  If you dislike it, that's worth a shot.
