Jousting Suggestions Please
« on: August 31, 2019, 10:40:20 PM »
I’d like to do a small jousting diorama. Can anyone suggest manufacturers of knights charging with their lances levelled?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is pretty much my first “toe in the water” of the medieval period.

Take a look at Steel Fist’s Italian Renaissance range.  I think that is exactly what you are looking for.  Also, if you want to save money, take a look at Plastic Soldier Review.  There is at least one company that makes a set of 1/72nd knights at tournament complete with an audience.

You can mix and match knights, horses, and shields.

Since the release of Steel and Steed we have seen a renewed interest in Sally 4ths range of terrain for the Tourney that includes Tilts, Archery Butts, Barriers, Stands, Tournament Tents and Spectators in 28mm scale.

Today we have released an extension set for our popular wooden tilt barrier to extend the 18" Tilt to 42" for Steel & Steed style jousting. We have also put together a Tournament Basics set that includes 42" Tilt, enough barrier fencing for a 12" square or 24" square enclosure for the foot or mounted melee and our archery target / butts set as a discounted bundle.

Thanks, folks!

As someone who knows nothing about the range of figures available for the medieval period this has been very helpful!

Now, where’s my credit card?
