I've had a little spare last night so I've coloured in the water tower a little more.
Also here our Edith's it's not a new build by any stretch of the imagination. However its always been intended to be part of this project.
It's an essential part of my poorer part of town.As are the Chippy. Pub,and the corner shop.

[quoteThat's very nice work. I am planning a small French village school, but still waiting to be inspired by pictures./quote]
If it's a school you're after give Charlie Foxtrot a look. Not expensive and perfect for the era. I've got one and it's doubling for the Walmington on Sea church hall.
Cheers JB

Nice additions. I am intending to use the emplacements for WW1 at some stage so no immediate plans to do anything with them soon.

Thanks one and all.
I've another three builds almost ready for painting.Plus a fair few figures to fit in between builds.
Moiterei,
The texture is a printed paper that I've had floating around for a few years .Rich.H uses the same supplier(I can't for the life of me remember who hense the delay answering)An Italian company on eBay. The same paper is in the background of the signal box.It was a little too busy for the water tower and needed toning down to fit with the styling of everything else.
Dan,
They were built with ww1 in mind.I personally stretch their use in Pulp games (and it is a stretch) to plonk BFG's in.
For road blocks I'm trying out different Ideas rather than the obligatory barricades. Road work's seem a reasonable alternative as they're not restricted to one theme or game.

Marvelous stuff once more! Thanks for the info on the paper. Will contact Rich. With some luck he might still know the supplier  :D

I just saw the Bolt Action Sea Lion rule book on sale locally so I could be digging those emplacements out to use with my Foundry Dads Army which could use some reinforcements. ;)

Here's a few random bits from the masters box for the Homefront range. As Simon's popping over on Thursday I've grabbed a handful of bits out of the box for him to cast early.
