King's Royal Regiment of New York in 28mm
« on: September 07, 2019, 07:37:18 AM »
I have started a new collection focused around a specific campaign in the AWI with plans to develop things as it goes along.

Nicely painted figures - and sensible reasoning for your campaign.  I am in the throes of deciding what portion of my Loyalists to paint in green uniforms and currently leaning on three out of every five.  For those I paint with red uniform coats, I'm hoping there will be someway to easily recognize them as loyalists since my collection is in 15 mm and staying in 15 mm, way too much to consider changing.

Will enjoy watching your collection build.

JJ, great looking unit, and enjoyed learning of your collection's focus.

I've got a mostly unpainted set still waiting completion to do the war's conflict in the "Neutral Ground", in Westchester County just north of New York City, mostly during 1778, that'll enable la petite guerre fought there.

Please keep us up to date on your project's good progress here!

Great looking unit and brilliant project idea on your blog. Thanks for sharing! Being originally from that part of the world it is nice to see someone with such enthusiasm for the local history.

Thanks for the comments and feedback chaps. I’m really enjoying the change in palette putting this AWI collection together, although that might change once I start getting stuck in to multiple units of militia.

Anyway they say a change is as good as a rest so I am aiming to get a few units put together for each side before working on some more ancients in between and that might lighten the work between militia and Dacian war bands.

Cheers
JJ
