Tarting it up in a Normandie town in 1944
« on: September 10, 2019, 07:57:20 AM »
No, not like that!

I am looking for some period posters, advertising signs etc. to brighten up the walls of some 1/144 scale buildings a chum is making for me.  Fairly sure I have seen something produced commercially in a different scale but cannot for the life of me remember who sells it.  I know I will probably end up buying, scanning and reducing come what may, so suggestions in any scale would be helpful.

Any ideas please?

You could look on N gauge continental model railways, but I cut up (& resize in your case)
adverts from Sunday supplements. A lot of things we can buy now (& are therefore advertised in the UK)
are French. There are also period posters available on line. The advert/catalogue shows a small icon of the poster.
That is fine for a small poster in 25/28mm, or a big one (If not resized) in 1/144th.

Use the 20mm versions produced for Rapid Fire and rescale them to fit.  They are on the 4th page of the Free downloads

Thanks guys.  I knew I had seen what I need somewhere on line and Fire-at-Will nailed it.
