Any troubles with "old" LBMS shield transfers ?
« on: December 16, 2019, 02:24:57 PM »
Hello guys,
I don't know if it's a current problem, but i have some troubles with "old" shield transfers  (bought a few months/years ago) from the Little Big Men Studio.

The transfer stick to is translucid support and it's nearly impossible to take it out from.
I have several buddies who get the same trouble with LBMS transferts.

Fortunately, i have found a solution for this problem that could save you, your shield transfer and at the same time, some money too  ;)

Right here on my blog's page

Hope that could be helpful for someone in need of solution

Cheers
Eric

Hi Eric

Another tip I would suggest is to peel back the film down to the description freeing up the designs before cutting the designs out and then let it fall back into place, this makes the separating much easier once cut into the individual designs.

Cheers

Unfortunately I don't speak French. What I do however  is replace the plastic with baking paper, very simple  :)

If you use the translator button on the left , you'll get all the idea in an understandable english .

In fact, the tip is to sleep ina needle  between the translucid and the transfert and give more space to  peel back the translucid from its support.

Go with the needle to the central hole to release a great part of air to peel back.

The transfert will be less sticky than a new one but you save it !
