Just my personal thoughts.

I really like To The Strongest but my go too rules is Hail Caesar for it's ease of play and adaptability

Yes basic Impetus  is ok for solo, but like I said not as satisfying!

DBMM, ADLG and Big Battle DBA are the popular sets in New Zealand, with MM possibly the biggest.

I play a bit of TTS as well which is a great game.

Most played wargame, I've used Impetus and DBA sized elements, didn't bother with hexes that often, just put a dot where the middle of the hex was.
And the rules are now FREE!!!
