My 6 x 6 Challenge Game 2: 3mm Hammer's Slammers-esque
« on: September 15, 2019, 07:33:27 PM »
Going to try to start posting here more regularly and follow the conversation here.  I have started a 6 x 6 challenge and my first set of games are 3mm Hammer's Slammers inspired games using a modified version of Nordic Weasel's Squad Hammer, on a hex grid!

Rules and battle reports can be found here https://jozistinman.blogspot.com/p/6-x-6-challenge.html.

Enjoy!

Interesting read, really enjoyed it. I have some 3mm sci fi stuff sitting in the lead pile, may just ave to get them done after reading your blog! :)

Thank you! Go ahead and get your stuff painted, you will not be sorry.  The return (gaming time) on the time invested is huge.  It took me three weeks to go from bare metal to ready to play for 4 different mercenary units, and that was just fiddling around with it maybe 30 minutes every other evening.

Check out the modern range from Pico Armor too to supplement, especially the less “popular” ones.  For example, I am using a Chinese vehicle for my tracked calliopes.

Good gaming!

Looks fun to me, but 6mm is about as small as I can go.  Kudos to you!
