Greetings from sunny Roanapur!
« on: September 27, 2019, 09:27:42 PM »
I blame Netflix, I stumbled upon Black Lagoon while bored. Having watched it previously (I have the DVDs somewhere), I thought I would watch it again.

Roanapur makes Russell (Kororareka) look like Frinton, on a Sunday, in Lent.

Set is the 1990's it follows a team of mercenaries as they navigate their way through the melting pot of criminal organisations that inhabit the city.

I am not sure as a game whether it is better suited to 7TV, Pulp or Spectre.

What renewed my gaming interest was the opportunity to dual use the buildings I have for Vietnam.

Way back in 2011 I painted up a Hasslefree Eve as one of the crew.

Rebecca is famed for her dual wielding of a pair of custom M92s (Eve is not armed with M92s, neither is Indiana).

I might use Hasslefree's Indiana as an alternative (I do not have another Eve in stock).

Having watched the series again, I am now having a look through to find other suitable figures.

Suggestions are welcome.

Sounds interesting, never heard of it (but added to my list). But looking at the trailer I guess you also need a PT boat? lol

Can't help on rules, but I guess story is more important that the violence.

Is this the crew you want to build?

Hasslefree seems a good fit for look, etc:

Damn, my son has the entire series. Another potential theme rears its head distracting me form accomplishing anything....

I am sure Rich will put  one together for Empress....

Yes plus others (such as The Maid and the Mini Maid, Eda, etc...)

True.
I have retrieved Kaen Yu as a possible Balalaika. Ray with a head swap and removal of the cricket bat might do for Rock.

Coppleston might have suitable figures for Chang and his minions.
