ACTA Noble Armada Wraith-class stealth destroyer
« on: September 18, 2019, 09:11:09 PM »
New post on the blog showcasing a rarely seen miniature from an OOP game, complete with images of painted minis and tactical tips for using them in a game hardly anyone plays any more.  What?  I can't waste my time waxing a little nostalgic?  :)

Nothing wrong with nostalgia. Thanks for sharing, it was interesting to read your blog entry although I have no experience with that game.

Thanks.  I'm keeping an eye on the comments and hits I get on this post.  If there's enough interest I may start a series of articles discussing game mechanics, tactics, and the various strengths and weaknesses of the different fleets.  Kind of doubt there will be enough demand, but the game and its sole expansion are still available as pdfs through DriveThruRPG and many of the minis are available through Ral Partha Europe, so (as they say in the princess Bride) it's only MOSTLY dead.  Wouldn't bother me greatly to perform some mild necromancy on it.  :)

I still regret I haven't been able to buy anything to Noble Armada...
So I will surely read and see anything you will publish though I am more of Decados myself :P
(Only ever played B5 ACTA)

Fading Suns are one of my all time favorite setting.
And I am always thinking about playing it with miniatures sometimes
(I am tinkering with Fading Suns Frostgrave mod :P
