Ive plaed a couple of games of Mortal Gods. I like the rules and how the Phalanx is working.
So far I lost all my games... but had a lot of fun....

After playing with lots of Hoplites I thought of going a bit out of the mainstream.
A friend gave me some crusader Thracians...very nice miniatures and I had a few Foundry girls laying around.

A few of the coats are already done...

Next is the leader of the pack and 1 or 2 riders.

Thanx gentlemen.

I managed to paint 3 more models for the thracians. Warlord, Healer and one tribal horse.

The minis are fun to play, but have to few life points. I think this will be fixed in the upcoming officila release of the faction cards....

We even managed to game a little siege game...

Painted a standard bearer for my thracians.

Perhaps a little to heavy on the highlights...

There are no rules for standard bearer at the moment in Mortal Gods...but I like scenario based games. Here he could play a role....

All the cut off heads are part of the foundry blisters. I did't add any....
