At this years Tactica I presented Mortal Gods with a friend.
We would pit two rivalbands of hoplites gaainst each other on a rocky board with an intact temple.

To start I had to paint a few more Foundry hoplites with some of the very cool Mortal Gods shields.

Perhaps a little bit too uniform but good for a convention game.

Casualtys and small stuff...

And a barrel for Diogenes.

And as a quick job I scratch builded an oil press.
First I broke one of my old brushes and scrachted a little styrofoam.

Glued together.

And put some filler on it..

Added sand and paint....;)

...stay tuned.

And here are a few pics of the board I builded. Sorry move these if you find it more suitable for the workbench.

First I cut 2 foamboards adn some rough hills on the sides. Added lots of stones and bark.
The walls are build stone b stone...

Added lots of sand...

And then some colour.

Drybrushing and the lots of Inks und Washes on the rocks.

On top of the tempel I added a bigger hoplite from MINI Art....;)

And thats how it looked when finished...

Needed a few more trees and rocks on the playing field.

Cheers,
Don
