KMM, Perry, Eureka and Warlord (former Conquest) match one with the other.

GM are almost 32mm. I like them, so I have them despite being noticeably larger.

Can't say where North Star range will stand.

@Rogerc

GM match in height Flags of War models, for the Jacobite 45.

FLY,   KMM Continentals, Dragoons and Over Mountain Men, all match GM.

In fact, I am putting a Militia unit together consisting of OMM and GM stock and converted figures.
I fill in my Continental units with a few non uniform "volunteers" from GM and the OMM.

Whatever you do, stay away from Redoubt AWI. Redoubt F&I War are excellent.

Redoubt F&I War are excellent.

This I can vouch for!

I've mixed Conquest-Warlord and Perry together extensively for FIW and now Cherokee and Seminole Wars, and also mixed in some Old Glory, and they all work well together. I found GM rather large in cmparison. My buddy has GM and KMM and they go well together. Hope that helps.

The few Northstar FIW figures I purchased before the line was OOP mix well with Conquest (now Warlord Games), Perry, Crusader, Dixon, Brigade Games & Foundry.

Also for reference, there a couple of other lines in the mid-sized 28mm range.

Fife and Drum AWI has a number of figures that work well for FIW.  These are actual scale-porportioned models and not cartoony-chunky, but still mix well.  (Soldiers in this period were incredibly malnourished, especially late in each campaigning season, so I wish all the figures leaned towards the lean side...)

Wasatch miniatures by Gajo play well with others.

Overall, I like the Old Glory, but the Indians' bows are skinny and prone to spaghettiïng, some I replaced them with brass wire, others I stiffened with a coating of green stuff and hardened with a thin layer of Zap-a-Gap.

Yes. It's Galloping Major in Europe.

More suppliers to check out, thank you all! One of the things I notice from the photos is that there is real opportunity to give the pieces some personality via faces and details. Very nice for someone who has painted thousands of 6mm! RB

These are GM bodies with KMM heads. If you are into conversions and making unique figures, then try these. The heads work well with Redoubt also.

Couldn't upload a comparative before. A sudden overload of work. Sorry for the delay

First model is Galloping Major British Hatmen FIW, second model is KMM AWI Highlander, third model is Perry Miniatures AWI Guardsman (I think)
