Grenadier Nostalgia
« on: July 05, 2009, 05:42:09 PM »
Like many here the recent re-releases have brought the nostalgia flooding back. Just for fun I decided to stick a few of my original ones in front of the camera.

Can you stick them a bit closer to the camera? My eyes ain't what they were in the 70s ;)
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

Those look grand.  I picked those up from a convention $1 box, almost the whole Nightmares line for $20.  I still have not painted any of them yet...

Yep, true nostalgia. I remember painitng these with my Humbrol enamels and using them for Call of Cthulhu games. Fond memories. :)
They are great figures and have stood the test of time considering they are approx 20 years old. :)

I think a lot of those figures still hold up well compared to some of the current stuff. Although the bulk of my human figures went the way of eBay a while back, I still have two of the box sets of the Cthulhu creatures and most (if not all) of the blisters. Maybe someday I'll even get around to finishing them.
We haul ours to kick theirs.
