And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

The 1999 group I set up and ran has already died because of the Verizon changes, and the fact that none of the pictures or files were visible due to the Yahoo img server being blacklisted as a malware source address.

They have had years to fix all this but seemingly just want rid of the whole thing.

To be honest, those types of yahoo groups were pre-runners for forums. They have lingered but I left most of those I was part of a long time ago due to protecting personal information and preventing randoms just emailing me etc.

Proper old school. They had their time.

You can upload files into groups created on feedmegames.com, so if yahoo is no longer any use to your group, feel free to investigate starting your group on fmg.

Which reminds me that I have all those pictures stored safely, but never got around to putting them up on my 1999 site. I really should be getting on with updating the site and adding all the pictures... :-X
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
