My latest blog is a short review of some of the stuff I have been up to recently (spoilers, it's mostly Gaslands!)

Gaslands is a great game. I must get some more games in.

I’m interested in why you decided to take the toy cars apart? I’ve not bothered with this on the ones I have done, and now wonder if I have missed out on something?

Cheers Fred, I've not played a game yet, but I recognise the similarity in other games I have played and enjoyed, so I'm looking forward to it.

I took them apart to be able to paint the interior and add drivers, also, I thought it would be easier to paint them without the window glass in place. If you're happy with how yours look then I don't think you've missed anything...

The most important rule, which embraces the whole ethos of the game is the “maximum carnage rule’!

As to the cars, I made mine before I had the new sprues, so didn’t worry too much about drivers, but I was looking at some recently and wondering about how to squeeze a driver in - and I suppose taking the car apart works well for that.

I also take apart my cars, mostly because I strip paint from the metal parts.
Not strictly necessary, I've painted a few without stripping them and turned out fine.
