These were ten awesome weeks! So many terrific entries! I loved seeing everybody's interpretation for the themes and the original ideas that many had. The painting was of a very high level for such a competition where the focus mostly is on quantity. In the end I think Grimm is the deserved winner. I like his style the best and his entries are so inspiring. Well done!

And of course all credits to Field Marshall Blood (come on...Captain? No way! ;)). What a monsterjob and he did it perfectly. Thanks a lot for all the work you did to make this possible. I think you deserve the price from Alex!

Congrats to Grimm, and also to OT and Tsar. Wonderful stuff one and all. And thanks also to the good Captain for running things, and for everyone else who entered and made me feel bad about my own painting and lack of guts/time for not entering my self this season...

I saw fantastic entries, great source of inspiration.

And as Mancha, the League gave me the opportunity painting minis of forgotten theme directly from the deepest of my drawers.

Thanks, Richard, for your sterling efforts - we couldn't do it without you.
A hearty 'well done' to one and all, you have proved worthy oppenents.
Now a short interlude and some well deserved rest & relaxation - for you, at least. An evil genius' work is never done...

I've got another couple of hundred to paint to finish the Austro-Turkish armies.
