This is great news for folks who have an interest in the Narvik campaign. I've taken the opportunity to provide some photos.

Strange to see semi-modern historical figures not sculpted by Paul Hicks.

While the figures look well detailed, I think they need to go back to the drawing board with the weapons. They are ridiculously oversized and the firing positions would be a tad painful for most the firers.





I suspect the Norwegian army would have been more effective if their Madsen machine gunners had big enough ammo pouches to accommodate magazines for the weapon too.



I appreciate that it is difficult to produce thin enough rifles for 28mm figures without them being fragile and difficult to cast, but these rifles way too thick and considerably shorter than their real life counterparts.

As I said at the start, the figures don't look bad at all, just the weapons that spoil them.

I was excited when I saw the thread topic but i think they are just a bit to crude, esp. inregards to the weapons. Disappointing.

I dont think there too bad, weapons are a bit on the big side, but its nice to finally see a figure with a madsen, even though its not in my period.

I don't think it will stop folks who have a keen interest in this period in buying them. If we all remember Battle Honours both in WW1 and WW2 it didn't stop folks from buying their ranges and to heck about the weapons - Right!

We are now seeing alot more early AFVs and infantry being released by various manufacturers an Crouchie taking the lead with his company.

I congratulate the company in making head roads into this obscure period that many other companies have chose to ignore due to A B&C.

I wish them well an I hope we can see loads more releases in the future.

The figures look good, support weapons are oversized but that's something you won't notice in a game.  They do remind me of the Battle Honors figures.  I would buy them if I did not have so many other incomplete projects on the go.

The sculpter is Mario Kkounnous it is his first attempt at ww2 figs so we expect the stuff that we feel is not quite right will be corrected with the future ranges.
the true scale of the figures is 28mm they are fully compatable with crusader or artizan (for size).
We are hoping to cover ranges that are often forgotten by the main producers but we as wargamers also will fill in our collection so some less rare army's may appear
 
(Are you hoping to capture all belligerents (We have a few ideas )?
what do you think is needed?

Quite right Argyris! A Greek army work work wonders for WWII and you have the opponents available from BAM or BH..

I'm thinking for this theatre, Kriegsmarine landing force in mixed attire, Polish Independent Podhalan Rifle Brigade in a mix of attire and headdress, French Foreign Legion and French Mountain Troops in their artic gear.
