I've just started ( probably a little late to the party) some Warcry warbands. They are mostly built with but not painted. I managed to find some time to get some paint down on my Corvus Cabal minis. I really enjoyed painting these and have gone for a magpie scheme.

I'm pretty pleased with the way they turned out and I am awaiting some bits so I can get stuck into my version of the Untamed Beasts.

Regards

Excellent work.  Warcry doesn't appeal to me in any way/shape/form as a game...but I love the unique and bizarre minis for most of the factions.  Some really nice model options for a variety of fantasy settings.

Oh now they are cracking!  8) Love the magpie colour scheme, very effective.

I don't think I know the rhyme well enough, one for sorrow, two for joy... nine for a beaky blade thing up your trumpet?  ???

Very smart indeed. The magpie is a brilliant idea for the colour pallette. :o

Thank you for the comments. I thought I was being "original" with the magpie scheme but I was pipped to the post by someone on Warhammer Community. Great minds and all that......

What the grey you used on the trousers?
They are Army Painter "Wolf Grey". It's similar to vallejo Luftwaffe grey  ( which I had run out of)

lol

I've finished basing my Untamed Beasts and will be priming them when the weather clears up a bit! None of them are GW so purists may not like them......

Thank you. I'm glad you like them.

I've just finished priming my take on the Untamed beasts. They are all from Raging Heroes with a few minor mods here and there.

Heart-eater

First-Fang ( Arm and weapon conversions)

Beast-speaker ( Weapon conversions)

Prey-takers with saw-toothed blades ( Head swap on centre model )

Prey-taker with fanged axe

Plains Runners

Plains Runner ( with weapon swaps)

I will probably use the Rocktooth Prowler as it is although I may swap it out for a bear.......

I really love the Raging Heroes sculpts and will start getting some paint down on them shortly.

Finally found some time to finish my all female "Untamed Beasts" for Warcry. As stated earlier they are all by Raging Heroes ( apart from the prowler) and are lovely minis to paint.
Anyhow here they are:
HEART EATER

FIRST FANG

BEAST SPEAKER

PREYTAKERS with SAW-TOOTHED BLADES

PREYTAKER with FANGED AXE

PLAINS RUNNERS

ROCK-TOOTH PROWLER

Here's a group shot with the same "load-out" as the GW Untamed beasts boxed set:

I tried out some GW contrast paints on these and it did speed up painting in places. Hope you like them.

Regards

Excellent painting. The figures are quite appropiate for Warcry.

Nice! They would all look at home on the cover of a metal album.
