Yes Osmoses I get that now - device I was using couldn't cope with translation/layout.

However I see that after Bright Moon it departed FIC and fought in Malaya/Burma, where it surrendered to British.  As I am interested in Op Masterdom it is not in the FIC OoB for IJA.

However it does hold significant similarities to the 34th and  think both had reinforcements prior to Op Bright Moon.  These they kept for subsequent operations - in the case of 34th, pacification in Southern Annam/CochinChina!

Thanks for help.  John

On the balance the helicopter gunship is also mightier than the sword

Ah I see. 'Masterdom' sounds really interesting. I was vaguely aware of Japanese fighting under the British after the war but not the specifics. Seems a pretty obscure subject though.

PM me and I will send some links.  Managed to get some  good stuff on most forces - lacking RN and IJAAF.

Be honest a mate suggested it and I thought - let's have a butchers.

Cheers

John.

Op Bright Moon also interesting but a bit one sided.
