Suggestions for modern 10mm minis ?
« on: October 23, 2019, 09:57:17 PM »
Hi,

I'm interested into Seven Days to the River Rhine new ruleset, since I like Iron cross system. What companies would you suggest for nice and affordable 10mm modern figures and armour ?

thanks

Assuming by 'modern' you mean 80's Cold War (given the 7 days reference), Plastic Soldier Company currently have a ton of releases up for preorder for their Battlegroup Northag range.

Timecast have some very nice options too.

If you want truly modern, options in 10mm are very thin on the ground and you'd have more options in 6 or 15mm.

1/200th Skytrex, Mini-Fig &  BPM (Butler Printed Models)
The later will do other scales if you ask him nicely.
I want to do French, which is proving a problem.
The Mini-fig 1/200th AMX 30  is 5mm longer & 3mm wider
than the BPM 1/200th one!?!???? Whose is right?
Might have to rethink.

You could be right, on their web-page as 10/12mm

Having owned all three now - the Action 200 stuff is much smaller (almost like Micro Armor). The Timecast stuff is the largest at 1/144 while I think I found Minifigs were around 1/160. Minifigs fits okay with stuff like Pendraken.

In general, I tend to make sure all of my vehicles are from the same manufacturer within a unit.
