NEW Magazine called Fantasy Figures International
« on: October 28, 2019, 11:59:40 PM »

Earlier today I picked up issue #1 Fantasy Figures International from W H Smiths. Although I have yet to read all of the articles, I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Please note the magazines title could be a little confusing - as  well as Fantasy and Sci-Fi subject matter, there are also articles for the historical figure collector/painter.

For more details see the Blog at;

or the pubishers site at;

Would definitely pick this up if I saw it locally (unlikely in the US).

Looks interesting. I’m assuming it’s primarily larger scale figures?
cheers

With industry wide 'scale creep' aren't all figures now-a-days 'large'?

"Just placed an order for the first issue."

I'm tempted to subscribe - 6 issues for £27.00!

Just bought issue one. It took a bit of finding in our local W H Smiths,
it was with the adult comic books, not the wargaming section I normally look in.
Aimed definitely at the large (54mm & bigger) modelling fraternity.
I did find some useful techniques, and a few companies whose stuff I will look at.
As to buying it again... I doubt it.
