steam horses -the Mageknight variety
« on: July 08, 2009, 11:27:13 AM »
Now I know the answer will be -try e-bay but either my seachfu is off some what or there isn't much out there but try as i might I cannot find a decent number of the type of Mage knight steam horses I've seen other use on this forum. Now I have a couple and would like about 20+ but all the sellers I find seem to only carry a couple in stock and with postage to the UK making a less than viable option. Even 10 or so would be great ,anyone have a link to a decent e-bay seller? thanks Darren
gan canny kidder!

The names for the ones you're looking are:

Dwarven Mounted Fuser (Y/B/R)
Golden Orb Myrmidon (Unique)

And the Ram-head versions:
Galeshi Ram Charger (Y/B/R)
Mountain King (Unique)

A friend of mine owned hundreds and maybe even thousands of Mage Knight miniatures (jup, we were big players in those times :D). So if you can't find them on ebay, send me a PM and I''ll give you his e-mail adress.

I have a small stable of them myself. I keep an eye out at the convention flea markets for them. Got a few people that know i am on the hunt and they pick them up for me when reasonable prices allow it. But with them being discontinued it has been ages since i have seen any on eBay now.  :-)

Not what you are looking for, but have you looked at these things ?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JUNK-GOLEM-Star-Wars-Miniature-FORCE-UNLEASHED_W0QQitemZ250465457415QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Toys_Wargames_RL?hash=item3a50e79507&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

They are quite big - the base is 70mm across and the (front) brown leg is about 60mm high (at the highest point) but they make good robotic... mounts or draft animals (or guard dogs)
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
