Here is a new sculpt of another member of the Oxford horse with sword drawn in typical royalist fashion! He could be used as a parliamentarian of course depending on how you like your units, but he was designed as a royalist.
This is a first gen master figure and there are bits of adjustment needed before production and I will add a sash to him as well.

More soon!

Please keep the previews coming!

Question - what are you thinking of offering through your initial Kickstarter - (that is - unit or figure types, and/or the portion of what you eventually plan on releasing)?

He's another belter1

Good to see a zischagge on a trooper. Strange how so many textbooks says zischagges were 'rare' yet every museum with a civil war display/gallery has at least one on display
www.keepyourpowderdry.co.uk gaming the British Civil Wars in 15mm, and home of the ECW travelogue - dreadful painting, mediocre prose

Just joined this forum. 15mm ECW is my favourite scale and period. I like Peter Pig, great to paint but some of the Matchlock range still look great for the authenticity of the poses. These first few castings look equally good. I would be very interested in a Kickstarter project although I am not sure I really understand it!

I’m planning on offering a good basic range in the Kickstarter with stretch goals expanding that.

Yes I agree there were plenty of them about, I have already made most types of cavalry helmet so you will the rest soon.

Thanks for you thoughts, the Kickstarter basically allows me the funding to get all the moulds made up front allowing customers to buy full armies without having to wait months while I wait for each release to break even.

There will be another figure soon!

Here is the next figure, an officer or well equipped trooper of the Oxford horse charging in the Swedish fashion with sword drawn.
This one has a rather more expensive zischagge than usual.

These are extremely good - if I didn't have cabinets full of 2nd Generation Minifigs for this conflict, I would be sticking my hand into my pocket and pulling out my wallet already!

One small point, the raised foreleg on the trooper's horse (top of this page)- that is not a natural leg position for a horse, I'm afraid (Blue Moon also have a "goose-stepping" horse, but with the other foreleg).  Otherwise, the horses are excellent, which bodes well for you - the biggest downfall of new ranges, in 15mm or 25/28mm, is that the manufacturer releases lots of decent infantry, but then you either have to wait ages for the cavalry, and/or when it does appear, the horses are often a let-down and ruin the range (Blue Moon is an example of this - their horses look like they are in a Fosse dance troop!).
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

Well I think I will be buying into this range, when are you hoping to launch the KS?
