BT Internet and Black Hat Website - help needed
« on: November 04, 2019, 05:46:25 PM »
Had a couple of reports of problems reaching the blackhat website. Could people do me a favour and if they use Bt Internet could they see if they can see:

https://www.blackhat.co.uk

and if not could you let me know the error and your public IPV4 IP address from:

https://www.whatismyip.com/

Many thanks for any help
Mike

I had no problems getting to your site.  My ISP is Plusnet (BT in disguise).  Hope that helps?

Thanks for the help.

The hosting company have made a change which may have solved it - just waiting to hear back from a couple of people who had trouble.

thanks

More likely to be a DNS issue with the BT Internet DNS servers. Or BT has (in it's infinite wisdom) decided to blacklist the site.

We had similar issues with a wargame site in Oz that kept getting blacklisted because it contained content that included references to tanks, bombs, Syria, Crusaders, Islam etc.

I just tried it using your link via my BT hub - no problem.
If it’s too hard, I can’t do it
