Q&A With the Head of Studio Miniatures
« on: July 10, 2009, 04:17:31 AM »
As promised last week The Screaming Alpha is proud to present a lengthy Q&A session with John Hamilton, the man behind noted UK zombie maker Studio Miniatures. Topics include:

The identity and background of the sculptor who produced Studio's marvelous line zeds.
Who does the amazing paint jobs seen on Studio's website.
Future release plans for the zombie line, including a few survivors.
Plans for the further development of the EVE setting, including potential game and even comic book tie-ins.
The startling fact that Scotland is not technically part of England.

Follow the link to read about all these bombshells, plus a whole lot more!

Good work Curryman.  I'm impressed with the committment that John has considering he has a full time job.  My mouth is watering just thinking about the future releases.

I'm glad he explained about the theme behind the mobs.  When I saw the latest release the zombies didn't seem to stand out like the first two mobs but as horde fillers they fit the bill.  Studio Miniatures set the bar pretty high with the first two mobs and I was expecting that every release would have the same amount of character zombies.  But every horde needs it's basic types.

The time can't go fast enough for each new release date.

Great interview.  I'm really looking forward to seeing their future releases.

Excellent Curryman, and thanks for asking my question about a zombie Peter Griffin. I'll keep my eye out for that one.  :D
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

I glad you enjoyed reading the interview. I'm thinking about making this kind of article a semi-regular feature on my blog (assuming I can line up more subjects). If anybody has any suggestions for future interviewees I'd be glad to hear them.

I'll bet Kev White from Hasselfree would do a good interview...

Maybe Mr. Zombiesmith?
