Indeed. I watched that on Dutch Television. The first series was the most worthwhile as it was was actually filmed in the Philipines (the other two were filmed behind the studio in an obviously non SEA enviroment) & had a decent variation of subjects in each episode. After that, it (the 2ed and 3rd became a repeating of scenes so much that i lost my interest. Especially when those 'stars of the platoon, the guys who never died, were selected to be a SOG-team. That did it for me .... i stopped watching. ;-)

I thought the first series was filmed in Hawaii (hence the appearance of a very young future Relic Hunter).

I watched it when it was originally on TV.  As a kid it impressed me a lot.   

As an adult, I would prefer to watch Combat! than Tour of Duty for TV warfare.

Loved it back in the day, a must watch, my dad used to record it and we would watch together when I was home on leave

It was good the first couple of seasons. Before it became "Melrose Firebase"

The earlier seasons were the best IMHO.
