Quick update added to the blog with details of the new lights for photography if anyone interested.

So, a mix of daylight and the lighting has done the trick.  8)

I'm just wondering if a couple of low cost daylight rigs might be an alternative? Not that there's anything wrong with your pics, far from it.

It is amazing how good lighting can make the difference!  :o

Interesting I bought a cheap lightbox off eBay with some LED lights in it and I was surprised just how much better the close up photos of my miniatures got.

Yeah, six and two threes basically.

I do need to buy a light box. I always curse myself for not buying one every time it comes to take some pics but never seemingly never to get the point of actually buying/making  o_o

I don't know how you have managed it Roger but each those Camel Guns, as well as looking spectacular, has an individual look that is going to make the unit as a whole look very interesting.  8)

Another unit bac from the basing department, my 5th battalion of Sikh regulars, mix of Old Glory and Foundry which go together surprisingly well here. More details on the blog. https://gapagnw.blogspot.com/2020/09/sikh-regular-foot-no-5.html
