Very nice. When can I come over to play? Love your terrain too. The trees are wonderful.

Thanks! Come over whenever!

I can't take credit for the terrain, its built by a wonderful pair called Two Sheds Fred. I prefer to spend the time dedicated to painting armies, not a great lover of making terrain. By the time my armies are painted, I just want to play! lol With that said I do occasionally make terrain myself (even if its just the MDF kits)

I believe I've seen their terrain on here before, its great stuff.

It was very tempting to go Empress, those miniatures are just wonderful. But a part of me loves the old "chunky" style  lol

Best part about the Foundry stuff is you can use their Afghan War/Taiping/Sikh Wars ranges also for Mutiny. So much of it is appropriate. I have been looking also at the Mutineer range for some of their officers as I am running out of Mutineer sculpts for my officers in Sharp Practice. I think they'll probs work scale wise.

The Mutineer figures are indeed more like the "old chunky style" but quite a bit taller than Foundry. In fact they are taller and heftier than the Empress ones. Lovely sculpts anyway.
Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

Just a quick update,

Finished some Sepoy Artillery and have made a start on the 24th Regiment of Foot. Finalizing up some Badmashes also with Muskets which I'll upload when based.

Cheers

Finally have got the hobby itch back after a month of little to no progress. But seems I'm full speed ahead now.

First up another group of Badmashes for my Mutineers. These were great fun and have loads of character, will likely be getting some more done.

Then Pearls Naval Brigade complete with a Artillery section. I've got a officer to finish on horse for these chaps also.

Currently working on some 13th Somerset Light Infantry, so a nice change from Red uniforms. I expect to have these done by sometime near the end of the week.

As I'm out of country at the moment battle reports for the blog have stopped, but I will be looking to resume these around June/July, so plenty of time for more painted units to appear.

I'd recognise that naval gun crew anywhere... did yours come with the sponge by the by? I know mine didn't...

Classic sculpts for sure, if a little rough.

Regarding the sponge, I had some other spare parts from an ebay auction so just added that.

Loving the paint jobs, but unfortunately those Foundry Afghan War’s British sculpts aren’t right for the Mutiny.

Thought about a side trip to either the Afghan or Opium Wars?
