Struggling for details to add...  it's pretty plain.  Going to add all the cockpit gauges - give you all something to paint!  Roof might be 'entertaining to cast... but that's not my dept...!

Is this not going to be a 3D printed one then, that can scale up and down?  :(
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

It'll be a 3d printed master which will then be cast in resin and metal by Empress - It'll be 1/50 scale to match their other stuff.

It could be scaled up and down but you'd need to ask Empress - they are paying for it!

It's on the printer now.  Going to take some fettling to tidy up the join.  It's huge!  12.5 hour print!  Hopefully have something to show later

hmm... ran out of resin before it finished - looks like it's been through a shark attack or hit a mine!  Also some problems with supports.  Reprinting now.  Will make a good wreck.

I was gonna say, "you're gonna need a bigger boat", but that would fit even worse into the printer...

OK split the hull into more bits, prtined the centre hull with a lot less supports.  Looks to have worked OK....  Forward hull and after hull will follow later...  will take a little bit of fettling to smooth out the joins but not too much.   It's a good size for 28mm, not much bigger than a large tank.

The shark attack boat...  I abandoned cleaning at this point as it's not worth it

That’s the easy bit. Where do I get a recognisable Roy Scheider in 28mm is the question. ;D

Upon reflection, it was this, as much as the re-edit that made Apocalypse Now impossible to watch.  ;)
