Moving into perp territory!

I'm obviously lacking in actual MC-1 perps, but I also have a large number of Street Violence figures kicking around whcih could be press-ganged to act as such, if need be. I must admit, though, that I din't find those particularly interesting.

And my favourite pastime, robots galore! Obviously, the wardroids could double for ABC Warriors as well.

And then some odds and ends! I've still got the Angel Gang (plus variant Mean Machines) somewhere but would need to photograph them first.

That's it for today! Any questions and (ideally constructive ;)) comments welcome!

Lovely work on all of them. I especially love the Klegg, and dearly wish I could find proxies for them in 54mm!

Keeping an eye on those service droids, else Rob Schneider might pop out.

Nice work!

Thanks for all the kind words!

More lovely painting. When did you paint all of this?

I started the project when I moved to the UK back in 2009, with most if the ABC Warriors items being painted in the following two years, plus the initial Judge Dredd stuff. When I got back to Germany, it went somewhat on the back burner with various jobs and moves, but I resumed Judge Dredd in 2013. Since 2014, I finished the Dredd part (more or less) and then did some odds and ends, focusing on SD when we did the two Astropolis Kickstarters for Lead Adventure Miniatures, since IMHO those had a nice 2000AD flair to them if given a suitable paintjob.

In a bit of a detour, in 2018-2019 I also did a bit of Sláine, originally as an addendum to my Old-without-a-hammer fantasy collection, but with more specific items added when North Star re-released the Roy Eastland fantasy celts. Those I still have to show, but I'll do them as a separate thread. Still lacking good terrain for that , though.

I basically just painted what I found which looked suitable until the Warlord Games SD game came along and I got the starter bundle to be finished in late 2018. Then I focused on these, did the aforementioned convention game in 2019 and now have almost all of that done. I'm not too enthusiastic about the Judge Dredd WG range but will certainly get some more odds and ends from that one to round out what I've got. It'll probably become a "multiverse setting project" as I may add some more items where the source material doesn't warrant a comprehensive approach such as Robo Hunter, Halo Jones, and Ro-Busters - I'm basically happy with modelling and collecting, though getting to play more than two games in 10 years would be a nice bonus.
