Stripping paint from plastic miniatures
« on: December 09, 2019, 09:38:46 PM »
Hi Guys,
This may well have been asked many times before but what is the best way you have found to strip paint from plastic minis?
I have bid on several lots on fleabay because I want to practice a "grim dark" method of painting...
In the UK we may not have access to some of the US products so how do we strip back layers of paint here in Britain? Some of the figures do look like they need a flame thrower taking to them to rid them of the first 6 or 7 layers.
Thanks Guys

You're right it has been asked loads but to save you trawling through those search results, Biostrip20, easy to get in the UK and does a great job on plastic (do not use on resin!).
