Okay, so I need some advice...  Should I bother wiring this piece with LED lights? The idea would be to add one or more lights to each structure, is it worth the enormous amount of time and effort it would require? It is something that would never be used for gaming, and would likely only ever be turned on the one time that I took pictures of it...

Check out the WIP gallery on my Website in the Lothlorien gallery here.

Thanks,
n.

oh come on, make it with the lights in. We all make scenery that we use only once (in a while)

A superb bit of scenery and I vote for lights (only because you should have to suffer for making such beautiful stuff.)

I was really hoping that you guys woulod be the voice of reason and say "You are right, forget the lights!"...  Oh well. I guess I will go down to the electronics store today and pick up the proper gear... This project is making me crazy!

Thanks for the feedback!

REASON?

Every time I come on this forum I lose a little more of my sanity. Grimm or you build some beautiful piece of terrain. The professor or Dominic or one of the other great painters shows off their newest miniatures. Or Polynikes comes on and I end up singing German military songs.

I think that's what I love about it.  :D

The construction is completely finished! All that is left is detailing the base and painting! Unfortunately I decided to forget putting lights in this thing... Too much work, not enough incentive.

Check out all the pictures here.

Here is one to whet your whistle:

Am I allowed to say this is beautiful again? Have I used up my quota for a single project from any one person.

Fantastic. Now you just need to build about a half dozen more so you can string bridges between them and fight on it..  :D

:?: Where would you put lights on this piece???  I don't think it needs lights at all.  However, if you build other buildings that look more intact, you might consider putting a light inside that would cast light up into the windows. Yellow would make it look more like light from candles or lamps inside the building.
