lol

That actually looks like it would fall over in a puff of wind  ;)
That’s some terrible cowboy builder bricklaying.

I bet it’s going to look fab when you’ve worked your magic on it though Matt  :)

The worrying thing is that the walls are actually “in-scale” so they’d probably be a good foot thick at least...it’s just that the farmer cut a few corners when it came to quality control .... maybe Winter was coming...or something like that. Either way, the ironic thing is that it wasn’t the walls that let him down...

 ;)

Bit more progress...

Managed to get the frame of the roof on, plus some boarded up windows and a door.

As you’ll see, despite secure windows and door, the poor unfortunate farmer appears to have had part of his roof “cave-in”....

Next up, need to fill some of the gapping holes in the walls with some liquid green stuff, tidy things a little, and sort out the roof.

Nice job on the windows and doors, I think they look nice and rickety... but may still outlast the walls :)

Maybe the farmer built the walls without mortar?

Definitely seemed to have issues before he moved up north.   lol

I love the roof; it really suits the rough stone work. Excellent stuff. :D

The wood is just the underlay...I’m thinking of slate tiles over the top, but the whole thing is going to end up covered in snow.

Barely 10 mins to myself this weekend, fast running out of time... have started some really sloppy tiling.

Intentionally gone with chunky tiles rather than thin cardboard, as I like the look.

I’m now away until next weekend, so will have to blitz it in the last 48 hours...
