Excellent work. Are we likely to see the retinue of Sir Bernard of Clifton? Perhaps with his ostrich, Oswald? Or maybe the famed Sir Rodney, a knight from Hull?   ;)

Alas not h of these knights are in the retinues of my enemies. Sir Francis of Howard  and Sir Bruce of Forsyth will be joining my barons forces  soon. :D

Sir Bernard de Clifton and his loyal charger Oswald are one of my retinues. They have had several rumbles with Sir Roger and his acquaintance Sir Bernard.

Simon the Smithy, Nooks keeper.

I really dislike this figure. I am not much of a Perry fan boy, the sculpting on the figure is really lacking, the hands are lumps, no real fingers and the mail shirt is awful and let’s not discuss the chain he is holding, it’s just a lump of metal. I substituted a Fireforge head to make him look more in period.

Here he is with the bear for completeness. The bear is an oddity too, the face, snout and cheeks have no fur sculpted on, so he looks a bit odd. I painted the head twice as the first time it looked too pale, now it maybe too dark! Never mind he’ll do, I exoect he won’t live long in games anyway as he will be a large target for everyone else’s archers. ;) lol

You have done a really good job on a figure that you say you found subpar. The bear looks very good as well. For something you have no love for you have made it look quite appealing. Perhaps more so for enemy archers... nice work.
I should be painting right now.

Great fighting teams and bear of course.

Do you have any ideas for the bear traits ?
And his handler...

Do they fight in a team ?

Cheers

The bears traits will be: Large, Ferocious and Fang/claw. These are standard traits from the core rules of Fistful of Lead and fang/claw comes from the Tales of Horror supplement.  The handler will be a normal D10 with one trait.
