Plan is to print a few rifles later.  I've beefed up the barrel but I'll make another version with a pocket for a wire barrel.

My plan is a 'what if' force for Korea (ish): Warlord Brit Airbourne in denison smocks with EM-2s and supported by a Mk3 Centurion  :)

Using Bolt Action I'd have Brit regulars with 'Rapid fire' (+1 shot for every 3 rifles) and use the Centurion as a Comet.

Sounds pretty good to me.
I was thinking of doing some surgery on a few Empress Late War Scots in windproofs.
Your idea sound easier.  lol
Do up a few sections with EM-2s. And have the rest armed with regular 303. And stens.
And if that workes, i would then do up a few resistance figs with them.
Hell one of those new crew served MGs from the video might be a good replacement for the Vickers still in use.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I've got one box of airbourne somewhere, I was going to do them all with EM-2s if I can...
Problem will be the arms as they have attached weapons now...  a lot of clipping and filing needed!

I've got a 6 hour print job to do this afternoon, I'll sneak some EM-2s around the edges see how they look printed.

They turn out tiny is the answer!

Warlord Stg44 for scale.  mm scale below.

I'll rescale and chunk them up a bit  ;)

The reaosn for the discrepancy...  STG44 is 94cm which at Warlord's claimed 1/56 makes it just over 16mm... but this one is just under 22mm or 1:42!  My 1/56 EM-2 is just over 16mm.

So...  I've added 50% to the X and Z axies to chunk it up a lot and I've stretched it out +33% to 21mm to be 'in scale' with the warlord STG44

Before and after.  Will go on the printer on the next print.

Yeah, sadly you some times have to "chunk" things up a bit at that scale. Or their too small or fragile to work with.

Had a look at the airborne and given the attached weapons it's going to be a pain...  Not sure I can be bothered....  I'll check my stash see if I've got anything else suitable.  Maybe commandos?

I have used cut down 1/35 scale weapons on 1/56 vehicles etc,I think we have become so used to overscale  side arms that correctly scaled they just look tiddly  lol
