Mordheim Diorama
«

Hi all,
I've startet a litte diorama for my living room showcase. I used to store my minis in Ikea Detolfs but found them quite useless, so I switched to shelfs with glassdoors. Since I now have two almost empty showcases in the living room, I thought a mini-Mordheim board would be a cool thing to do. I've always loved the Mordheim-setting and used to play activly 8-10 yeas ago. While I have no interest in the rules anymore, the setting and especially the drawings in the rulebook are still as cool as before. So this is me trying to pay homage.

That's a great start. I love the Mordheim setting and the fiction too; I have a decent table set up for it but the rules have a couple of flaws that are hard to get past.

Looks very good so far and would make a nice setup for small games.

Thanks for the kind comments, here is a small update. One day of vacation left, we'll see what progress I will make tomorrow.
Codsticker: Yes, I think if I wanted to play some games in a mordheim-setting I'd rather use frostgrave rules.
Nordic: That's the idea, we'll see how it works out.

What wonderful scratch-built buildings. Really looking forward to how your town turns out.

Thanks for the kind comments.
Haven't had much time or fun crafting last month, everyday life was a but tiresome. I managed to finish building the roofs and started painting the base coats. Pretty bodged job on the right house, I'll have to think of another colour.

On an unrelated note, I set up a small siege table yesterday because I felt like toying around with some of the painted models. When I got home from work this evening, my 5 year old daughter had modified the set-up a bit.
While I have no clue why the cav is charging a volcano or why there is suddenly a jungle growing on the edge of the siege camp, I'm actually super happy to see she is taking an interest in the models and being creative by setting up her own stories.
