Sharp Practice French & Indian Skirmish
« on: January 05, 2020, 03:27:14 PM »
Some photos of a recent game of Sharp Practice set during the French & Indian War.

The naughty French were out to destroy British homesteads. They succeeded doing just that for a game win. It was a fantastic game and bags of fun. The British side were mostly Provincial troops along with a group of homesteaders which they had to protect. The Indians on the French side carried out a first class ambush into the rear of my only decent unit of Rangers. Unable to evade due to the river to their backs, they were completely wiped out. The homesteaders were saved though and managed to escape.

Superb figures, painting and terrain. I’m always in awe of anyone who can field hills that look good and are practical, ie. figures can actually stand on them . Sharpe Practice is excellent for the F.I.Wars , we’ve had some excellent entertaining games with them . I much prefer using them for this period, with their plethora of troop types  , than for the Nap Wars for which they were originally designed .

Brilliant models and terrain. I think this conflict is the one that shows Sharp Practice off the best.
