I like the game but you have to be ready for a different experience.
The game is described as "fast and brutal." It is. A 4 on 4 game can be quite enjoyable or quite terrible. Your characters will die quickly if you don't use the suppression and op fire rules. A game can be over in 10-15 minutes.
You will need both a German and American starter set to play. That's 75 Euros. Although there are quickstart rules (for free online), the printed rulebook has better explanations and illustrations. I recommend it. That's an additional 18.50 Euros (although a pdf version is available on Wargame Vault for 12 Euro at the moment). So 93.50 Euro as an entry point.
However, the figures are gorgeous! The resin terrain pieces included in each box are beautiful. The production and print values of the stat cards, tokens and rulebook are top notch. You get quite a lot for the 37.50 Euro. You will very quickly want more figures and terrain pieces (a great selection of both is available from Baueda with more on the way).
Figures are 1/48 scale. And 7.50 Euro each (including a beautiful full-color, double-sided stat card which adds to the overall price). I think many gamers will balk at starting a new scale. (Did i mention they're gorgeous?!!?)
The rules themselves are tight with many innovative ideas. I had very few questions (although I had watched AAR videos online) after my first read.
So why not use the 28mm figs you already have? Each figure comes with its own special stat card. The only way to get the stat card is to buy the figure. The stat cards are beautiful full-color, double-sided. So to play, you must buy the figures. Baueda could release the stat cards on their own but I'm sure that would kill any interest in their 1/48 scale figures.
Despite the scale factor, I have bought into the game heavily. I think there's a very good game here once you know how to play. Having at least 6 characters per side will help. Having lots of terrain will protect your characters better. A scenario/mission -- rather than a "just kill each other" game -- will invite players to learn and use the op fire and suppression rules, again allowing your characters to live longer.
I would suggest:
Download the free quickstart rules and sample data cards at:

Then play a few games with the figs you have and see what you think.
There is a forum on Baueda's website where you can see comments and answers to questions:

Cheers!
