Nice - I like the red legs on the demon.

Huhum yeah me too, that's what I like about her!

It's the horns. It's always the horns...

Lovely zombies...if zombies can be lovely?
Everyone needs some lovin'... Even reanimated corpses.

That and the nice pair of eyes.

I like the almost monochromatic painting of the zombies.  Great project.

Nicely painted models & interesting comments on the folk/fairy tale style. The goblins (thread page 4) are my favourite so far, they look as if straight out of Hobbit or even The Wizard of Oz.

My progress with this tread has slowed down recently. That does't mean that I've slowed down . What I have been up to is painting some larger units and a making bunch of terrain. I'll post some terrain pics at a later time but for now I have a bunch of Oathmark Elves that I've been painting. They came out okay but it is time consuming having to make up two dozen figures then paint and base them.

There's a couple more pics on my blog as well as my thoughts about making, painting and adding these figures to my growing army.

I agree they're missing a spark, but they look good good as a solid fae-aligned core. The animals are nice too.

Interesting take on Fae rather the usual High Elves. Nice touch and reference on the eyes. As for a spark, maybe some heroic individuals to break up the rank and file uniformity?

Beautiful regiment! I'm putting together some goblins and totally agree they are quite time consuming to put together and clean up! I missed a few mold lines ...

All worth it in the end though when you get a nice regiment like that!

Btw is that your movement tray under the 12 Elves?

Yes, I'm working of a few heroic figures a the moment.

The movement tray is just a blank drink coaster with some acrylic paint sponged onto it. You can get them at craft shops. Cheap as chips and very easy to make.

New additions to two of my armies: For my faerie army I now have the Erlking and his family. These figures are the Oathmark metal elf king and queen with a bit of conversion work done.

I've also made a werewolf unit for my evil guys army (goblins/orcs/evil doers... whatever). All of these figures are Reaper Bones and they do the job very well.

Great looking army there.  I particularly love the werewolves.
I thought the fae/elves eyes were "blue within blue" in anticipation of the new Dune movie.

The Oathmark elves are rather static but do improve with cloaks (I bought resin ones as I don't have the adequate skill in making greenstuff ones) and by using arms from other plastic sets - I have used GB plastic Saxon arms and Fireforge knight arms.  There are a few knight helmets that suit for some added variety.

Some more figures that have been sitting on the desk for a few years found that their time had come during the week. These are Granbretanian Order of The Bull. Those of you who have read Moorcock's, History of the Runestaff will know who they are. I sculpted these figure for Eureka a few years back and I've been meaning to paint them for a long time. Well that time is now and I'm wondering why I took my time about it because they came out really nice.

As usual there are some more detailed pics on my blog at: https://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2020/03/its-all-bull-im-tellin-ya.html

I also did some Oathmark Orc archers during the week (well they're "goblins" but I'm going to say they're orcs).

Nice painting (and sculpting!), particularly on the Bull Legion warrior's eyes.

I'm woefully lat to this thread, but I love this figure in the first post. Is it made from plastic GW empire parts?
