They're a bit good- as usual matey  :-* :-* :-*!

It will be interesting to see how  you tackle the 'spearmen' problem when you get to it. It's going to be the same problem that confronts me post Partizan this year.

I picked up some plastic Perrys last week end while I was in Chester, a Agincourt French Infantry and the usual Mercenary Box Set from WOTR, I've got lots of the metal Italian heads and shields kicking around so let's see what happens when Dr Frankenstein pulls the switch !

How are your Italians doing in your games? We had our first go at Furioso Tuesday and I must admit that my -2 initiative units did very little and ran away the moment my army took a few hits. With many units at minus on initiative and no hard hitters the Italians must be hard-pressed in a game.

I think I'll give the Spaniards a closer look next game. Very good on firepower and decent on combat.

Cheers
Erik

Hi Erik,

Who are your Italians fighting against would be the first question. They are not a straight forward army to use well, you certainly need a lot more of them, especially Heavy Cavalry if fighting the French, at least twice as many units to get a good game.

Try using them with allies or add in more Mercenary Units,  Poor Initiative (unless you roll badly and end up minus) can be an advantage as you get to move after everyone else has.

The Stradiots are excellent too.  The painting on your army goes from strength to strength.  Bravo.
