Over a number of years, I have been maintaining a list of 28 mm historical plastic sets (including 1/56 scale vehicles and terrain) released from 2008 onwards, posted on another forum (Warseer). However, due to a variety of personal reasons I have decided to stop this pursuit with the changing of the year. Still, as a farewell I have decided to also share the list for a larger audience both here and on TMP. Hopefully many readers find this useful, and maybe it inspires somebody to start maintaining a similar list somewhere else (if so, please feel free to use this as a starting point).
The list starts with manufacturer abbreviations (item 1), continues with historical kits from ancients to moderns (items 2-14), concluding with listings of weapons and shields (item 15) and various categories of terrain (items 16-24).
Abbreviation of the manufacturer is in brackets behind the name of the product. Whenewer two manufacturers are mentioned, e.g. (IM -> WG) then the first one is the original manufacturer and the second one current manufacturer.
