These are very nicely done, particularly the smocks. I've had pretty much the whole Artisan FJ collection sitting on my lead mountain for years and need inspiration like this to get painting. I just read "The Lions of Carentan" which is the FJR6 account of their actions in the ETO from '43-'45. A fascinating perspective from the other side. Given all the theatres they were in, you're definitely not limited to Italy!

Sure. I used Vallejo Green Grey followed by Army painter Strong Tone Wash, then green grey again with a final highlight of Vallejo German Camo Beige.
