Nicely done! All those Fleur-de-Lys must've been an ordeal though  lol

Just a little!

Lovely work Matt  :-*

The set is one of the best that the Perry's produced for the HYW IMHO.

Yes I would of liked them to continue for the early part if the HYW also

Cheers
Matt

Looking fabulous - when are we going to see the full army on the table?

When my wife stops making curtains for our winter proofing of the chateau, she has 16 pairs to go, then I get the wargames room back.....hopefully in less than two weeks!

The Maid of Orlčans came off the production line on Saturday, another addition to the French army. A nice figure by the Perry twins, I did think about adding a helmet to the figure and using it as a regular knight though.

Lovely work on a fine miniature Matt.

A good idea, if I ever get around to it I might do just that as a very kind forum member gave me a load of Perry HYW stuff a few years ago so I have ended up with two models of the mounted "Maid" (sorry, that just sounds wrong!).

Certainly but would make for a interesting figure never the less

Love your minis and paintwork, bluewillow.

Thank you for sharing them with us.

I look forward to more info on your books too.

How did you paint the white keys on the pavises?

Did you use a very, very fine brush, or a paint pen for that?

Adding so much fine detailing on so many pavises looks to be a very challenging endeavor.

With a brush, on a wet palette, with a retarder mixed in so I could thin it and keep a wet edge

This week an addition to my terrain for my upcoming chateau build, a simple plastic building from Tabletop Workshop, I have six more of these to do including the small chapel.

I did add silicone filler so I could texture the walls between the columbine timbers.

cheers

Great idea.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Yes, I need too, it is the main fail this year for my proposed builds for 2020, a lot of terrain not completed!
